Learn To Play Futsal

This program is for parents who are unsure whether futsal is the way to go for their child, Florida Crushers is offering an 8 week futsal academy to provide a “test drive” opportunity.

This is an introductory class for players ages 4-10 to the game of Futsal. Futsal is played on a hard indoor surface and uses a heavier soccer ball that does not bounce. The game is played 5v5 (4 players + a goalie).

Players within this class will be instructed on basics of the game; proper ball handling, passing, receiving and footwork skills.

In addition, Futsal uses a size 3 soccer ball which doesn’t bounce so there is an increase in focus on each players first touch. By the ball not being in the air and not bouncing; players get more touches and increased foot skills. Players within this class will be exposed to the Futsal Court’s small playing field, which will force players to learn how to make quick decisions.

Indoor Training: No cleats or turf shoes. Shin guards required. Please provide water for your player.
